Outstanding place!!!! Went last night about 9:45 and even though they close at 10 they were so nice to take us anyway. Ordered the mozzarella friti which is cheese sticks, literally the real deal cheese sticks and the best I've ever had!!! We then split a "works" 14 pizza and it was super fresh and the best pizza I've ever had and I'm quite the pizza lover and aficionado. I will definitely be going back!! I almost forgot, the service was just as good as the food which made the experience that much better!!

Visiting from San Diego and thought we would try this place. The seating out in the breezeway was ok despite the heat. Had the crab, shrimp with jalapeño appetizer..... Tasty! Ordered the special of the day which was seared redfish with asparagus. Outstanding! Fish had the perfect seared outside and tender moist inside. Asparagus was still bright green but not crunchy raw. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Hugh O

Updated review. After giving them a few months to see if they got their act straight, this restaurant is still a disappointment. We order the jalapeño seafood bruchetta and it comes out with very little sauce to it and untoasted bread (the menu says toasted and we have always received toasted). Then I ordered gnocchi... After finishing our appetizer and soups I get informed they don't have gnocchi. So I adjust my order, not too much of an inconvenience but I was looking forward to trying gnocchi for my first time. Then our plates come out. My husband had ordered both chicken and sausage for his plate but only chicken was on it. Had to send that back as well. Very disappointed! I'd rather go to olive garden then come back to this place.

Well. I was really looking forward to eating here. It started out pretty good--the waitress was really nice and the soup and bread were tasty. But then my main dish arrived. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and soon realized something was up with it. Upon using the extra sharp bread knife to saw off a piece, I found the chicken to be rather raw and extremely tough. The waitress took it back and returned it with the chef's apology, but it was too late. I took the new dish home in a to-go box but couldn't even bring myself to eat it the next day. The person who did eat it said that a fully cooked version of it wasn't much better. The other dishes order at my table were okay but nothing spectacular. I would have only given one star except that our waitress was nice. Doubt I'll give them another chance.

Like the new (previous) location. I wish I could resist the bread but it is too good! The spinach and artichoke had a great flavor but goes better with the softer bread that comes with the table instead of the over toasted bread that comes with it. The carbonara was good but had more sauce than pasta but that was corrected with an extra side of pasta to mix in. All in all it was a good experience. The wait staff is helpful and friendly.

Fabulous!!!!! Food was amazing. Cindy M. was our server and she was great. So glad we found this treasure on Yelp. We will definitely be back and I will be telling all my friends.

I just upgraded my review to 5 stars. They are consistent with the service and quality of food..this time we got the crabmeat stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. They were delish....

one of my favorite places. View: There is not much of a view here as it is located on highway ninety in Ocean Springs Mississippi. This restaurant used to be located downtown area of Ocean Springs Mississippi. They moved to a much bigger location on highway ninety but that location closed for some reason. Service: This restaurant is small and only seats about thirty people or so. so I have not had a problem with service at this restaurant. Prices: Lunch prices are reasonable and you can get a decent lunch for about fifteen dollars. Quality: I love the bruschetta. I get it with cheese and it is toasted and really good. A dish you might like but is only on the dinner menu is manicotti. it is really good. You can get the manicotti at lunch if you just ask. so I recommend getting it.

Horrific experience. Horrible wait for food, and when it finally came (after asking multiple times), it was inedible. My wife's fish crumbled like a cracker. My dish, too, was way over cooked. We asked for the manager 3 separate times. He or she never showed. Inexcusable.

Dreadful Americanized "Italian" food for the bland , tasteless palates of the area. Nothing unique or even semi interesting. I actually wasn't going to leave a review of the restaurant. It's that forgettable. Best thing about this place was the sorta cute server ( she had all her teeth) which is uncommon in this part of the USA & leaving.

I ordered the bruschetta and a margherita pizza. The bruschetta was soggy and loaded with onions. I don't recommend it. I do LOVE the pizza though. Cheese and tomato, and it was amazing. A second order was just as good, though the garlic butter is very garlic, and I'm not sure yet if I love it. I am very tempted to order pasta next, but I am pretty stuck on the pizza. Will have to update when I get tired of pizza!

Cozy eatery worth a short drive from the large casino hotels of Biloxi. The Eggplant Parmesan was one of the best we've ever had and the sauce was just right. The pizza was perfect with a well cooked top and a light crispy bottom. Good casual atmosphere filled with locals.

Decent food, it's no Carrabba's or anything, but it's pretty good.

Ordered Pizza delevered- took about 40 minutes which was fine and the Pizzas were warm when we got them. All three versions were okay- my fav was the NY with jalapenos. Nothing out of this world- it's an okay Pizza

Stopped by for dinner. Have to say it was really good. The bread with the garlic butter was fantastic!!!! Their sauces were great. The only complaint was the meat was average but the taste was easily covered with the nummy spicy marinara. Waitress was great!! Looking forward to coming back.

Visited Salvetti's last night for dinner on our way out of town. Dining room is small and quaint, not for the pretentious. Prices were very good and the food even better. My wife loved the bread (baked daily) and Caesar salad. We both enjoyed our entrees, I had chicken parm and she had baked sausage with peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Each came with your choice of pasta. Wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We'll stop by next time we visit Biloxi.

I was a always a fan of the Old Salvetti's restaurant so I was skeptical when they reopened in a strip mall. I am glad I trust my stomach. Very intimate and quiet. The service good have been a little better as the waitress was obvious new to being a server. We had to ask to have our glasses refilled when they were obviously empty the edge of the table. That being said, the food was just like I remembered. Good sized portions and very delicious. Very glad the kids are keeping the tradition going

This is our favourite Italian restaurant in OS. The pizzas are great and he does a very nice job with the pastas. The carbonara, seafood ravioli and arraibatta are my favourites . The spicy garlic shrimp app is absolutely fantastic!!! The staff is exceptional very laid back and attentive. If your looking for great pasta and pizza this is the place. The prices are very reasonable for the quality.

Good, solid hole-in-the-wall Italian place. I had the chicken parmesan, which was delicious. Husband had a daily special - something with seafood and veggies and pasta, which he liked (and is pickier than me). All others at the table ate pizza or calzones, and everyone was pleased with their meal. My only complaint at all is that the place was so tiny and it was a cold day, so every time the door opened, you were freezing again.

I love Salvetti's! I bunch of lovely ladies work here and they're quite entertaining to listen to. The place is relatively tiny, in a questionable plaza but the food is no joke! I had the eggplant parmigiana (w/ alfredo) and chicken parmigiana (w/ alfredo), which was FAB! The bread with garlic butter was strangely addicting. My only comment would be the obnoxious static from the television but it shouldn't interfere with the overall experience.

The lunch menu prices were higher at one one time. The menu was changed to accomadate lower prices for everyone with still a nice portion of food. Therefore the lunch menu is considered in with the pizza special.

Nice, clean, quiant. The calamari was good, but the alfredo was delicious! The wine list is severely lacking, otherwise I would give five stars.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
